Tiger Beach Club
Tiger Beach Club operates on the Nuvasa Bay waterfront in Nongsa, sharing a stretch of coast with the Palm Springs Golf course and the Nuvasa residential development. The bar combines an open-air deck with a covered pavilion, a mid-sized bar counter, and a small stage that hosts a mix of live acoustic sets and karaoke nights. The crowd divides between resort and villa guests, golfers wrapping up at Palm Springs, and a rotating set of Batam residents who drive over from Nagoya on weekends. Drinks are priced in the middle of the island's range, cheaper than Montigo's TIIGO and more expensive than bars around Nagoya Hill. The bar is one of the few places in Nongsa that keeps a happy hour worth the trip, running two-for-one bottled beer and discounted jugs of sangria until early evening. Karaoke runs on Saturdays with a basic song catalog covering Indonesian, Mandarin, and English tracks.

Full Review
Tiger Beach Club is the sort of venue that rewards slow afternoons. The deck sits above a curved stretch of sand with views toward the Singapore Strait, and the prevailing breeze keeps the area comfortable even at midday. Seating is split between wicker armchairs on the open deck, high tables around the bar, and cushioned loungers that face the water. The bar itself is stocked with standard Indonesian lagers, a short cocktail list, and a wine selection heavy on Australian reds.
The happy hour is what pulls traffic across from central Batam. Two-for-one Bintang and Heineken bottles run from late afternoon into early evening, which makes the 40 minute drive across the island defensible for a casual session. Food runs to pizza, satay, nasi goreng, and western mains, with prices that sit noticeably below Montigo's TIIGO next door. Service can slow when the bar is full, but the staff handle large groups without obvious strain.
Karaoke on Saturdays is the bar's attempt at weekend energy. A portable system gets set up near the stage, and the host runs a rolling queue rather than private rooms. The standard is casual; expect a mix of confident singers and group performances. The bar does not employ hostesses or lady drinks, which marks it apart from the Nagoya KTV circuit. The crowd is mostly couples, groups of friends, and the occasional stag party on a Singapore weekend trip.
Transport is the main drawback. Nongsa has no metro, no regular bus service to Nagoya, and the ride-hail coverage thins out after 22:00. Book a return GoJek before ordering the last round, or arrange a resort driver in advance. Compared to Chill Cove at Treasure Bay, Tiger feels more established and the drinks list is stronger, while Chill Cove wins on proximity to the crystal lagoon activities.
The Neighborhood
Tiger Beach Club sits on the Nuvasa Bay waterfront, next to the Palm Springs Golf course and a short drive from Turi Beach Resort. The surrounding area is low-rise residential with limited walkable nightlife.
Getting There
From Batam Centre ferry terminal, GoJek or Grab to Nuvasa Bay runs 30 to 40 minutes and costs 100000 to 140000 IDR. From Harbour Bay the drive is slightly shorter at about 25 minutes. Hang Nadim Airport is 15 minutes away by taxi. The Nongsapura Ferry Terminal serving Singapore's Tanah Merah is roughly 10 minutes by resort shuttle.
