Electric Blue
Electric Blue is the sister venue to Windmill, located in the same Soi Diamond alley off Walking Street. The bar operates under the same ownership and benefits from shared management and recruitment. The venue seats around 40 customers in a neon-lit interior dominated by blue lighting that gives the bar its name. Around 15 to 25 dancers work each shift, younger on average than the Windmill cast. The atmosphere is more contemporary than Windmill's classic go-go bar format, with a modern sound system and lighting rigs that lean toward a nightclub aesthetic. Drink prices are slightly below Windmill's, making Electric Blue the more budget-friendly option on Soi Diamond. The bar draws visitors who want the Soi Diamond experience at a lower price point, as well as those who prefer the younger, more modern atmosphere.

Full Review
Electric Blue exists in Windmill's shadow, which is both its challenge and its opportunity. The shadow means it'll never be the first bar tourists seek out on Soi Diamond. The opportunity is that it offers a genuinely different experience at lower prices.
The blue neon interior creates a visual identity distinct from Windmill's more traditional lighting. The sound system is modern and club-quality, playing EDM and commercial dance tracks rather than the mixed playlist next door. The overall feel is more contemporary nightclub than classic go-go bar.
The lineup is younger on average than Windmill's, partly by design and partly because the newer dancers often start at the sister venue before potentially moving to the flagship. The quality is good, if not quite at Windmill's peak-season heights.
Prices offer meaningful savings over Windmill. Beer at 160 THB versus 180 THB, lady drinks at 200 THB versus 220 THB, and bar fines at 1,500 to 2,000 THB versus 2,000 to 2,500 THB. Over an evening, these differences add up. The management quality, inherited from the shared ownership, means bills are clean and the operation is professional.
For visitors on Soi Diamond, the smart move is to visit both. Start at Electric Blue for cheaper drinks and a modern atmosphere, then check Windmill for the flagship experience. Or, if you prefer the contemporary vibe, spend the whole evening at Electric Blue and save the difference.
