Maria is what happens when the soapy massage format gets the premium treatment. The lobby is quiet and tastefully decorated. The staff are attentive without being obsequious. The fishbowl has fewer workers than Poseidon's, but the overall standard is noticeably higher.
The pricing reflects the positioning. Starting at 5,000 THB, Maria is two to three times more expensive than the entry level at Poseidon. Top-tier workers command 10,000 to 15,000 THB. These are the highest prices in the Ratchada district, and the venue makes no apologies for them.
What you get for the premium is a better room, more attentive service, and workers who have been selected for both appearance and the quality of the massage experience. The rooms are larger, the tubs are better maintained, and the overall environment is more private and comfortable.
