Full Review
Lips occupies the top tier of the P. Burgos Street go-go bar hierarchy. The renovation that transformed the old Kojax space created a genuinely modern interior. LED panels behind the stage shift colors with the music, the booth seating is comfortable and clean, and the air conditioning keeps the room cool even when the bar is full.
The dancer roster on a Friday night included about 25 women. Individual performances ran 10 to 15 minutes each, with occasional paired sets. The choreography was basic but professional, and the performers were dressed in matching outfits that changed every couple of hours. The stage lighting was a cut above what you see at other P. Burgos bars.
Pricing is premium. Beer at 120 PHP is notably above the 100 PHP standard elsewhere on the street. Lady drinks at 400 PHP and bar fines at 4,500 to 5,000 PHP make Lips the most expensive option in the area. The worker's separate fee of 5,000 PHP for short time puts the total above what you would pay at many Angeles City top-tier venues.
The crowd was well-dressed and international. Japanese businessmen occupied one section, a group of Australians held down a booth near the stage, and a few solo Western visitors sat at the bar. The atmosphere was refined for a go-go bar, more controlled and less chaotic than Angeles City equivalents.
Lips is the right choice if you want the best-appointed go-go bar on P. Burgos and do not mind paying for it. The premium is real, but so is the quality.
