7 Cielos
7 Cielos is a mid-rise rooftop bar in Bocagrande that offers Old City skyline views without the extreme altitude or pricing of 51 Sky Bar. The terrace sits about eight stories up, providing a clear line of sight over the lower Bocagrande buildings to the Walled City's illuminated colonial architecture. The space is larger than most rooftop bars, with enough room for about 80 people across lounge seating, high tables, and a bar counter. The decor is tropical-modern: white furniture, hanging plants, string lights, and a color palette that works with the sunset. The cocktail menu covers standard tropical options alongside Colombian-specific drinks using aguardiente and local rum. A tapas menu provides food for those settling in for the evening. The crowd is predominantly tourists and visiting Colombians, with couples and small groups making up most tables. The atmosphere is relaxed and conversational, with DJs playing background music that rarely competes with the view. It functions as a strong alternative to 51 Sky Bar for people who want rooftop drinks without the premium pricing.

Full Review
7 Cielos occupies the sweet spot in Bocagrande's rooftop bar scene. It's high enough for a meaningful view, affordable enough for multiple rounds, and relaxed enough that you don't feel like you're performing for the other guests. The Old City skyline, lit up against the evening sky, is the centerpiece, and it never gets old.
The drinks are solidly mid-range. Cocktails at 30,000-40,000 COP are about 25% cheaper than 51 Sky Bar, and the quality is comparable. The bartenders handle the tropical standards well: mojitos, daiquiris, and the Colombian specialty of rum with coconut water. Nothing is going to win awards, but nothing disappoints either.
The tapas menu is a smart addition that the higher-end rooftop bars don't always offer. Patacones with guacamole, ceviche, and mini empanadas give you something to eat while drinking, and the portions are fair for the prices. Groups that split a few plates and order cocktails can have a complete evening here without moving venues.
The main advantage over 51 Sky Bar is accessibility. No reservations needed most nights, no dress code enforcement beyond basic decency, and no sense that you're paying a premium for the privilege of being there. It feels more like a neighborhood rooftop that happens to have a great view than a destination venue that charges for the Instagram opportunity.
Weekend evenings get busier and the DJ volume creeps up, but it never crosses into nightclub territory. This is a conversation bar, not a dance floor.
